Welcome, Mauya, Silamukele to the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Japan in Tokyo. The Embassy is the representative of the Government of Zimbabwe and all Zimbabweans at home, in Japan and the Republic of Korea. The Embassy is established to promote bilateral relations between, the Republic of Zimbabwe and Japan and also with the Republic of Korea. It is there to protect the interest of Zimbabweans in Japan and the Republic of Korea. It is a point of contact and interaction with the Government and nationals of Japan and the Republic of Korea respectively. The Embassy promotes bilateral economic, social, cultural, educational, scientific and development cooperation between Zimbabwe and Japan and with the Republic of Korea.
Zimbabwe strives to maintain good relations with all countries, being "A friend to all and enemy to none". Zimbabwe welcomes investors, foreign and Zimbabwean abroad hence "Zimbabwe is Open for Business". Investment is well protected under domestic laws and Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements (BIPPAs). Such investment grows the economy in pursuit of the attainment of middle income status by the year 2030. The development is nationwide so no areas are left behind hence the mantra "Living no one and no place behind" guides the development thrust of the Second Republic led by the President His Excellency E.D. Mnangagwa as encompassed in the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1), the development framework over the period 2021-2025.
This website is there for the convenience of all to interact with the Embassy, or to seek investment opportunities in, or to visit, Zimbabwe. Through this site one can interact with the investment development agency, tourism authority, Zimtrade and any such institutions of interest. Thus, Zimbabwe remains a friend to all and enemy to none, open for business, and leaving no one and no place behind in development.
